When and where

We meet three times a month at two different locations.

First Wednesday

On the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00 to 9:00, we meet at Los Agaves in South Charleston. You may absolutely eat burritos while you play. You may drink while you play if that suits you and it's legal for you to do so, but we won't be responsible for fake words you play while inebriated.

Second and fourth Saturday

On the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00, you'll find us at Books-A-Million at Dudley Farms Plaza on Corridor G. We'll be in Yogurt Mountain immediately to the right as you walk in the store. You may absolutely eat yogurt while you play. Please do not contact the store for information about the meeting.

What to bring

The club can usually provide playing equipment for you to use. However, if you're able to bring any of the following items, it is always appreciated:

• Deluxe Scrabble board
• Protiles, if available, regular tiles if not
• Chess timer, preferably digital
• Two tile racks
• Three scoresheets (either from this site or make your own)
• Writing instrument of your choice

Observers

We welcome all visitors to our club, though we do ask that you not reveal (intentionally or otherwise) the contents of a player's rack to his or her opponent.

Statement regarding minors and those easily offended

Students in all grade levels are welcome. However, please note we use a "grown-up" word list in this game, and certain individuals may see some of these words as offensive. We view these words only as playing pieces in a game and do not attach any other meaning to them whatsoever.
